I don’t know how people can get excited about wedding/bridal expos. My bum of an estranged sister is getting married next year, and being as she’s on the other side of the country (and I’m pretty sure has only heard of things like hair brushes and makeup) my mom and I get to plan it…which is fine, but this expo thing is not happening again. All of these mediocre vendors, with hundreds of psycho women pushing and shoving like they’re god’s gift to the world- yelling out what they want. Better yet, the ‘samples of food’ have runs like the world just announced this is the last of all food. Jesus, people, do you not eat, ever? I know you do, because I can’t squeeze between two of you in a ballroom doorway. Ridiculous. The rest of this wedding is getting planned via catalog and online. How can people get excited about this kind of thing?

I don’t think I can watch Bravo anymore. Just the commercials for any of the ‘real housewives’ shows infuriate me. These shows based in social drama are for the intellectually weak. If you feed on drama and require shallow measures of conflict to keep your mind engaged- you aren’t actually using your mind. THINK. There are endless possibilities of stimulating application for the mind. Watch a show that engages you- makes you actually use your mind instead of sitting back to allow a show to pointlessly evoke emotional reactions based in nothing. Shows based solely in social drama are an insult to anyone using their mind.
